Operator / Setter

Perform various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and clean/sanitize machinery according to

set standards to meet production KPI’s and adhering to HACCP and GMP principles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform production tasks
- Ensure and verify adequate materials and supplies are available at the right quality to complete operations
- Accurate completion of production related paperwork
- Perform production line opening and complete all relevant documentation
- Operate/monitor multiple pieces of line equipment during operation to ensure efficient, quality production
- Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
- Maintain OEE through maintenance, correct set up and minimizing changeovers
- Maintain housekeeping and quality/ safety standards
- Perform maintenance checks and troubleshooting generated
- Set up accurately, maintain and troubleshoot machinery and process tooling.
- Grade 12 certificate, preferably with Maths
- Technical N2 qualification is essential
- At least 2 years’ experience in a GMP environment performing the relevant job
- Technical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Valid each Truck/Forklift Licence would be advantageous
- Previous experience in compression /coating machine operating sector would be advantageous
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools -Above average accuracy, problem solving & time management skills
