Our client a private hospital group is looking for an Enrolled Nurse - Psychiatry to do ongoing locums at their hospitals in Southern Suburbs.
**Qualification & Requirements;**
- Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
- Registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Psychiatry ward
- Private hospital experience is essential
- Valid driver’s license
**Key Areas**
- Doing the psychiatric nursing evaluation
- Administering and evaluating the effects of medication
- Giving health education to patients and their families
- Conduct discharge education
- Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Ensuring that safe patient care is practiced at all time
- Crisis intervention
- Counselling patients
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
