**Position details**: Permanent
**Will require your own transport for customer visits in Gauteng. Prepared to be away from home for 2 to 4 nights at a time when visiting customers in Kwa-Zula Natal and Cape Town.**
- Understanding customer requirements to promote the sale of solutions. This includes for general site evaluations to identify areas of improvement which may not be specifically apparent to the customer.
- General consulting and cold-calling of customers to both establish new customer contacts and maintain existing client relationships. It will be expected to generate weekly sales leads.
- Formulation / preparation of quotations for Capital Equipment, Equipment Spare Parts and Service Call-outs.
- Involved in preparation of sales budgets and development of marketing strategies. This includes reviews on competitor development.
- Assisting at events, conferences, trade shows etc. to actively and positively market the company.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
- Technical Diploma would be advantageous as the role does involve talking to customers and dealing with customers about plant machinery and single-components.
- Experience working with OEM’s, End-Users, Installers, Resellers and Contracting/Consulting Engineering Companies would be advantageous.
- Good IT skills.
- Highly motivated target driven individual with a passion for sales.
- Valid South African driver’s license with own transport.
- Be available to travel - this will be predominantly in Gauteng but may include other regions in South Africa and within the SADC region if required.
- Fluent in English.
