- Interpreting complex technical drawings to ensure compliance of hydraulic cylinders.
- Recommending any necessary improvements to meet criteria.
- Incoming, In line and final inspection of manufactured parts, raw materials and outsourced processes.
- Accepting or rejecting products, working with production to enhance operational efficiency and teamwork.
- Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.
- Promote a Health and Safety culture within the business.
- Record data and information accurately.
- Maintain records of QC Documents.
- Report instances of noncompliance’s with processes and procedures to SHEQ.**Inherent Requirements**
- Trade qualification advantageous.
- Matric
- 5-10 Year experience as final QC inspector/Technical assessor/Turner/Fitter/ Final inspector working with Hydraulic cylinders.
- Excellent technical knowledge of the manufacture and repair of the following earth moving equipment parts such as bucket, stick, boom, frames, track frames etc.
- Understand manufacturing process and environment.
- Precision measuring equipment use and adjustment.
- Understanding the impact of nonconforming parts in a hydraulic system.
- Computer literacy (Proficient)
- Valid driver's license and own transport.
- Willing to work overtime and assist with breakdowns.
- Strong communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Problem solving abilities.
