**HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN**

**OVERVIEW**

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student or graduate to gain practical experience in various HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR administration.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. Recruitment and Onboarding**
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientation sessions, and introductions to team members.

**2. Employee Relations**
- Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
- Assist in resolving employee queries and concerns, escalating issues as needed.

**3. HR Administration**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Assist with the administration of HR policies and procedures.

**4. Training and Development**
- Collaborate with the HR team to organize training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Support the implementation of employee development programs.

**5. Payroll Assistant**
- Assist with data entry, timekeeping verification, and basic calculations under the guidance of experienced payroll professionals.
- Perform data analysis tasks, identify potential discrepancies, and communicate effectively with team members.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum: Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.

**Duration**

12 months

**Job Types**: Internship, Graduate
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R8 000,00 per month

Ability to Relocate:

- Olifantsfontein, Gauteng: Relocate before starting work (required)
