**Purpose of the Job**:
This position is responsible to provide a full insight in current liquor trends and insuring the actual and financial growth in managing and assisting in all aspects of various key roles like legal compliance, daily operations, marketing, buying, finances and profitability of all the Liquor and wine related services within the OK Franchise group.

**Job Objectives**:
1. Operations
Evaluate, recommend and advise on all relevant building and shopfitting plans
Approve store layouts, brand specifications, product ranges and merchandising
Work with various departments to ensure the correct specified equipment and trusted suppliers are used
Supervise weekly operational manager store visit feedback
Conduct regular store visits with top and divisional management to support the various owners in their daily running of the business
Do regular analyses on the oppositional stores
Attend monthly Board meetings and feedback sessions with top management

2. Marketing
Administers all programs and associated retail and marketing activities within the liquor operations
Evaluate, recommend, and develop retail objectives for the liquor operations, including: marketing; customer service objectives; operating plans; advertising strategies; and store improvements
Determines products and brands to be carried by the liquor operation by studying product trends, sales trends, and customer preferences
Advise on recommended prices for all merchandise sales to assure attainment of profit margins and conformance within policy and guidelines

3. Inventory
Responsible for growing all purchases through the OK accounts and advising the owners on how to maintain appropriate inventory levels on promotional activities and campaigns
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to minimize loss of store assets and inventory
Prepare and provide reports annually and semi-annually on dated inventory disposition, slow moving items, low profit margins, and projected sales volume for twelve months of all products

4. Supervision
Oversee the development of training programs for staff, encourages cross training opportunities for employees.
Support the varies divisions and store owners with all aspects of store opening from project planning to opening deals

5. Financial
Provide budget data and make budget recommendations for all new stores
Annually review and prepare suggested update for the liquor stores capital improvement
Review and evaluate all daily, weekly and monthly financial and inventory reports
Write monthly executive financial reports for the management meeting
Coordinates and processes requisitions for needed materials and equipment and obtains bids and estimates on work to be contracted
Support the divisional accountants in the bookkeeping duties of the liquor operation, including but not limited to balancing input data; preparing source documents for entry; preparing, matching, verifying, and/or coding purchase orders and invoices
Participate and advise on stock takes of inventory
Compile data for preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports

6. Equipment/Technology
Stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of liquor, marketing, business, maintenance and administration
Recommend equipment and technology necessary to perform liquor store sales and inventory.
Oversee new product entry, shelf labels, report generation, and expense vouchers utilizing various technology
Practices and supervises the proper and safe use and maintenance of any assigned equipment, property, etc.
Observes, educates on the practices of safe work habits

**Qualifications**:
Matric - (essential)
Relevant Diploma or Degree - (beneficial)
+3 years experience in a similar senior operations retail role - (essential)

**Experience**:
+5 Solid experience retail or FMCG, preferred Liquor experience - (essential)
Solid Liquor experience and knowledge - (essential)
Willingness to travel extensively and comfortable being away from home on a regular basis
Experience in liquor compliance - (beneficial
