Demand Planner

**Position summary**:
In this position, you will have the ability to provide a high standard service to both internal and external customers. You will problem solve through system and supply chain errors to make sure we can fulfill the customer’s request to meet and exceed their expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaboration across the business - Sales, Marketing, Commercial Leads, Finance, Suppliers
- Daily review and analysis of Customer demand by division / segment
- Work closely with Customer service team to check order tracking and customer demand replenishment
- Prepare, update and analyze weekly Demand review files with Stock on hand, in transit, month to date sales
- Lead Weekly Demand review meetings for all divisions with Commercial team, ensuring agreed minimum required stock cover maintained per division as per key performance indicator
- Identify key out of stock risks, and ensure risk mitigation plans in place
- Lead monthly Supply review meeting with key product suppliers
- Review and provide shipment / supply eta’s to customer service team for back order reporting
- Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Channel & Category Sales Development, Finance, Suppliers
- Place demand replenishment orders through ERP Systems (SAP, Pastel) to various suppliers
- Maintain ERP system housekeeping
- Design Learning Log to capture Business impactors, Marketing and Sales events, competitor information.
- Implement statistical models for base demand forecasts, exception-based management approach
- Implement & Focus on Demand Plan Accuracy, control variability of accuracy, manage no systematic bias.
- Provide line management with function-specific inputs to Risks and Opportunities.
- Compile all key measurements to line management for Monthly S&OP review.
- Work closely with Marketing team to understand and review all innovation and renovation product launches, portfolio optimization
- Attend to customer demand administration tasks
- Work closely with Customer service team to resolve customer complaints
- Provide a high standard of customer service support to Thermo Fisher Scientific customers / suppliers
- Liaise with customers/suppliers/service providers to resolve queries efficiently and professionally
- Complete month end check list
- Track monthly objectives
- Report stock issues immediately to customer service team and line management
- Work cooperatively and efficiently with coworkers to achieve team, department and company metrics.
- Assist with tasks as delegated by line management
- To comply with Quality Management System
- To comply with Site Health & Safety

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree - Commerce / Supply Chain
- 2-3 years Previous experience in Demand and supply management, logistics and/or customer service
- Computer Skills (Outlook; Word; Excel)
- Demand and supply planning / Analytics
- Finished goods replenishment analysis
- Organized with good communication skills
- Excellent telephone management
- Good numeracy and communication skills
- Customer complaints resolution and follow-up
- Coordinate with supply chain planning, operations, finance, logistics and sales departments to fulfil customer orders
