Control Room Operator

**Job description**

**Specific Duties to Be Performed**:
1. Monitor CCTV operational processes.
2. Monitor all cameras in Control Room.
3. Monitor and observe staff movement and procedural compliance.
4. Time based CCTV monitoring template to be completed by the Operator at set time intervals confirming the JD and monitoring requirements of each camera.
5. Investigate incidents via camera footage inclusive of footage backup.
6. Incident reporting and recording.
7. Start, middle and end of day reporting.
8. Ensure all equipment/ cameras in working order
9. End of day reporting.

10. Alarm Monitoring and Tracking

**Desired Education**:
1. Grade 10

3. CCTV/Surveillance Qualification **(_Would be an advantage_)**

**Special Requirements**:
1. PSIRA Registration, CCTV Operator
2. Attention to detail
3. Problem solving skills
4. Report writing

5. **_Good communication skills, fluent in English and one other official language (advantage), written and verbal._**

6. Assertiveness

**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Marlboro, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
