- Must have a Matric and a paralegal diploma (or studying towards the paralegal diploma)
- Qualifications in Deceased Estate Administration will be an advantage;
- Experience in the fiduciary environment will also be an advantage;
- Knowledge and technical know-how relating to deceased estates administration;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential;
- Fiduciary environment regulatory knowledge;
- Client centricity must be at the heart of your job purpose;
- Skilled communicator;
- Has an understanding of risk and compliance as it pertains to fiduciary environment;
- Conversant with Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of
Terrorism principles;
- Ability to think laterally, logically, and practically;
- Good work ethic;

- Show empathy and support spouse and or beneficiaries;
- Ability to collaborate with confidence; and
- Be able to maintain and build meaningful partnerships with our internal and external partners.
Duties include, amongst others the following:
- Drafting of Wills;
- Assisting with reporting of deceased estates and Trusts to the Masters office as well as other stakeholders;
- Placement of advertisements;
- Obtaining the written confirmation of all assets and liabilities in the estate/trust;
- Make payments/distributions to creditors, heirs and beneficiaries
- Assisting with the effective and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders;
- Ensuring that various stakeholders are advised of all progress towards all milestones in trusts/estates/wills;
- Following up and collecting proceeds payable to estate;
- Transferring of assets to beneficiaries;
- Arranging suitable insurance of assets;
- Obtaining relevant tax certificates and providing same to company’s tax service providers;
- Ensure the finalisation of the income tax assessment and obtaining closure from SARS;
- Identity new business for the company;
- Preparing the file for finalisation;
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies;
- Support implementation of new processes, policies and systems.
**Salary**: R11,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Durbanville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
