Looking for a young of heart but well experienced Restaurant General Manager to take charge at this Restaurant “to be seen” at in the Waterfront area. This GM needs to live and breathe F&B, dealing with a loud and exciting crowd, energised by the crowd vibe.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Hospitality/ Business qualifications
- Restaurant industry experience (Essential)
- High turnaround with an edgy loud clientele
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a restaurant environment and at least 5 years F&B management
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the role of a Restaurant General Manager
- Super hands on
- needs to set a sterling example for staff and be a great contact for clientele
- Extensive computer experience and proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Relevant Systems Operating knowledge - Marketman and Lightspeed will be advantageous
- Experience in hospitality industry standards and procedures
- Comfortable with financial reporting, and monitoring performance against budgets
- Strong Administrative skills very detail oriented with excellent experience in stock control, wastage and variances
- Willing and able to work hospitality hours
- weekends, public holidays etc
- Solid job history with excellent references
- Valid Driver’s License with own reliable transport

Description:

- Achieve or exceed financial targets
- Comply with all relevant management reporting processes
- Manage all the financial procedures of the restaurant
- Manage the restaurants stock levels to required standards
- Control and manage food costs and ensure that stipulated cost of sales are achieved
- Operations & customer care
- Ensure all operational standards are implemented in the restaurant as required by Owner
- Comply with all relevant checklists and evaluations as set out by Owners
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Manage the recruitment process for all vacancies that arise
- Ensure adherence to company’s disciplinary code and procedures

Package on Offer:

- Salary: R30 000- R40 000 depending on experience
- Live out in Cape Town

Starting Date: ASAP
