Demag Crane Technician - Germiston.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demag Crane Technician to join our clients team.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Crane Technician / Millwright.
- Red Seal certification
- Extensive knowledge of Demag cranes.
- Proficient in PLC programming for crane systems.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various environmental conditions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Proven experience in conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to document maintenance activities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on cranes to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in cranes.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize PLC programming skills to enhance and optimize crane performance.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance personnel to address complex issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement efficient maintenance strategies.
