Maintenance Planner

Opportunity for a maintenance planner to relocate to the UK, VISA sponsorship and costs fully paid for the engineer and family; there is also a relocation package.

The maintenance planner will receive a salary of R73,000 - R78,000, plus a 5% bonus, a 5% pension contribution, a cash healthcare plan, and 25 holidays plus the eight bank holidays. The hours of work are days Monday to Friday.

As the maintenance planner, you will work closely with the engineering manager and the engineers to plan maintenance across a complicated manufacturing site. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Setting up, managing, and maintaining the SAPPM maintenance management tool

Generating weekly scheduled maintenance plans

Interacting with the engineers to review the existing preventative and planned maintenance work orders.

Issuing and reviewing all check sheets, updating and maintaining the feedback loops

Generating complex site-wide detailed engineering plans for annual maintenance stoppages

Providing engineering support on scheduled maintenance periods and holiday cover to maintain an efficient service

An electrical or mechanical engineering background

Engineering/maintenance planning experience

Knowledge of SAPPM or another modern CMMS
