Investigator (Armed)

**Job Context**:
**SERVEST SECURITY AND TECHNOLOGY, A BUSINESS UNIT OF SERVEST HAS A VACANCIES FOR INVESTIGATORS BASED IN SECUNDA. MUST BE PSIRA GRADE B REGISTERED AND FIREARM COMPETENT (BUSINESS PURPOSE). MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS INVESTIGATION EXPERIENCE.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- PSIRA Grade B
- Grade 12
- Driver's License
- Firearm Competency for Business Purpose ( Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle )
- 3 Years investigation experience
- Formal investigative Training
- Defensive Driving
- Computer Literate

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Key Performance Indicators**
- **Promotes Safety and Security**:

- Investigates all incidents on site and analyses patters to ensure that mitigating procedures are implemented.
- **Manage and Development of staff**:

- Compilation of site specific standing operational procedures (SOP’s) as well as the training of Security Officers.
- Demonstrate an interest in and understanding of the attitudes, views and motives of your staff by building a relationship of trust and open communication.
- Manage the performance and productivity of staff by daily communication and providing feedback on results.
- Ensure compliance to the company policies and procedures and manage the disciplinary process.
- Implement and maintain measures to ensure safe and heathy operating environments.
- **Customer Service & Quality**:

- Conduct continuous risk assessments and advice the manager on risk-mitigation strategies.
- Attend to incidents, conduct investigations and draft investigation reports.
- Manage customer and staff complaints promptly, accurately and effectively.
- **Administration**:

- Ensure that you comply with the policies and procedures set out in the Operations Manual when performing Administration.
- Manage complete all reports according to Operations Standards.
- **General**:

- Strive to maintain company standards and maintain daily direct communication to the Site Manager
- Ensure that you are contactable on a 24 hour basis
