**Ultra Liquors,** an award-winning, national beverage company has an exciting opportunity for an intern at Wynberg Head Office across South Africa.

**Objective**:

- To gain workplace experience which assists with obtaining the relevant qualification
- Learners will be based at a specific store

**Disciplines include**:

- Financial Management

**Documentation Required**:

- Certified ID copy (not older than 3 months)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) (include contact details)
- Name of school attended (include school address)
- Certified Matric Certificate (not older than 3 months)
- N4 and N5 certificates
- N6 statement of results/N6 letter of achievement/Letter from the institution

confirming the placement requirement/proof of enrolment with the TVET college

**Start Date**:

- Contract commences: ASAP

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**General**
- Support Financial accountant in carrying out general finance duties.
- Assist financial accountant with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information.

**Annual Audit**
- Assist in preparation of and providing information to the auditors.

**BEE**
- Assist with preparation of BEE Scorecard (BEE123) and providing information for the audit.

**Company secretarial**
- Assist with the submission of annual returns, drafting resolutions, maintaining statutory records and other ad-hoc secretarial duties.

**Financial reporting & Accounting**
- Assist with preparation of annual financial statements, preparing reports, reviewing monthly management accounts, monthly VAT returns, monthly asset accounts and adjustments, performing monthly reconciliations and other ad-hoc accounting duties.

**Liquor Licenses**
- Assist with timeous renewals of retail and distribution liquor licenses for all stores and ad-hoc queries.

**Properties and Leases (including title deeds)**
- Assist with maintaining lease register, lease renewals, maintaining title deed register with the title deeds filed and monthly rental review of the rental payments schedule and other ad-hoc property requests.

**Taxation**
- Assist with maintaining the tax register, preparation of the provisional and annual tax returns and the annual tax computations.

**Skills and attributes**

- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Well organized
- Hands on and collaborative

- Self-driven and willing to learn
- Good work ethic and attention to detail

**Remuneration**:

- To be discussed with the intern (stipend)
