**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

Assist the Internal Compliance Lead and with forensic and risk-based audits. This role needs an individual who preferably understands the (QSR) FMCG industry, the financial and internal controls of auditing and someone who will be able to provide feedback and compile reports pertaining to forensic audit results. The role reports directly to the Internal Compliance Lead.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Identify risks, compile, update, and maintain audit files.
- Plan and perform detailed reviews of security processes, standards and provide support to the internal audit team.
- Develop fraud and risk management audit working procedures and programmes relating to the fraud risk management audit engagements.
- Draft fraud risk management audit findings, corresponding reports, preparation and presentation to management as appropriate.
- Plan and conduct investigations into breaches of policy, suspected criminal activity, fraud, theft, and other financial crimes.
- Frequent review of security measures including surveillance footage.
- Fraud and risk tip-off monitoring and assessments.
- Review and audit irregularities in expense accounts
- Conduct and monitor, quality and compliance checks in respect of all business operations.
- Manage ad hoc requests from inception to finalization and in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
- Assist with the detection of potential fraudulent activities, trends and preventative measures and improve efficiencies.
- Identify and drive optimal recoveries against estimated loss values for the Group.
- liaise with service providers such as polygraph, security agents, surveillance and alarm specialists as well as other relevant authorities.

**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- 3 (three) year Degree (NQF Level 7) in Accounting/ Auditing/ Must have specialized in Forensic Auditing
- 3 (three) years of practical experience combined/mixture in Forensic Investigation and Internal Audit
- CFE Certified Fraud examiner or ICFP Certified Forensics Practitioner (Desirable)
