**Purpose of the role**

The Platform Program Manager for the Ford account is responsible for governance of program management on all Ford programs. This extends to assurance of customer satisfaction in conjunction with the achievement of platform quality, cost, and delivery objectives, whilst ensuring platform profitability throughout relevant programs’ lifecycles.

Further to this, this person must lead and coach individual program managers inside the platform for the purpose of growing overall competence and excellence of project and launch management in the core team routines.

**Essential responsibilities and duties**
- Develop strong relationships and manage the ongoing negotiations with the customer as an official Faurecia representative.
- Prepare and submit RFQA to Management if relevant.
- Liaise with Program Controllers, reviewing and ensuring robust Business Plans, investment and cash flow planning in compliance with controlling procedures; take economical responsibility for all deviations from initial requirements in the platform scope.
- Monitor the Programs: Maintaining Program Dashboards and Budget Reports, tracking of financial roadmaps and leading reviews of programs’ status and results.
- Conduct Risk/Opportunity analyses and develop and implement appropriate action plans.
- Arbitrate any conflicts with the customer on financial and/or technical issues.
- Manage and co-ordinate a cross-functional program team (Sales, Controlling, Purchasing, Quality, Plant Launch, Supply Chain, Product and Process engineering), and define team members' objectives and assignments.
- Create a "Program Management culture" by ensuring processes defined in the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS) are applied at all steps, and by developing synergies between all actors involved in the program.
- Organise team routines and communication plans across the platform to be efficient, considerate and respectful of management and plant routines.
- Organise key program information to ensure Program continuity and to contribute to knowledge management.

**Qualifications**

Preferred education level:

- Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering
- Master’s degree in business administration or a PMP certification would be advantages

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years of project / program management experience (ideally within Faurecia or similar matrix organisation)
- Minimum 7 years of job experience in an industrial environment and/or with product experience a plus

Skills and competencies:

- Good knowledge of Project Management Processes (Faurecia PMS / PMI PMP)
- Good knowledge of Program standards, tools, and methods
- Fluent in English and in the customer language
- Ability to establish, develop, lead, and unite a team
- Strong financial knowledge (incl. building and following of a Business Plan)
- Problem solving techniques
- Strategic and analytic capabilities
- Planning and organizing abilities
