Extrusion Supervisor

A well-established packaging manufacturer has a vacancy for an Extrusion Supervisor. The role is based in Cape Town, Southern Suburbs and will report to the Extrusion Head of Department.

**The job requirements and duties are as follows**:

- Organizing team and machines for the required production
- Making sure the machine and materials are ready for production
- Record keeping of production output
- Monitoring safe procedures and work methods
- Making sure at all times production is running according to spec.
- Do rounds on all running machines
- Giving production report and feedback to the HOD as needed.
- Doing shift and production change over.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 matric certificate (non-negotiable)
- Post matric qualification
- Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry a huge advantage
- 3-5 years’ proven experience in the same role is essential
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.

**Job Type**: Contract

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
