**POSITION: COLOUR MIXER**
**COMPANY: PPG COATINGS SOUTH AFRICA (BALCO AUTO COATINGS)**
**LOCATION: BURGERSFORT**
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
To become the colour and paint mixer within the branch.
**CORE ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE**
Accurate and prompt colour matching.
Effective management of mixing orders.
Maintenance of all mixing equipment.
Housekeeping and 5’S.
Stock management - rotation of stock, stock takes and over mixes.
Accurate record keeping of all orders.
**COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
Colour matching.
Product knowledge.
Computer Literacy - Excel, Word and Outlook.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
Grade 12 with a Minimum of 5-years paint mixing experience
Valid driver’s license
**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**
Excellent communication skills linked to high customer service standards.
Must be able to prioritize orders - plan and organize accordingly.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Ability to deal with customers at all levels, to build relationships and be committed to excellent service.
Results orientated approach.
Must be pro-active with good problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
Ability to be proactive and think “outside the box” in a fast-developing environment
