Cmt Supervisor/ Cmt Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The purpose of the CMT Manager, is to oversee the production line and manage the machinist team, and the procurement of all materials.

EDUCATION / COMPUTER PACKAGES:

- Matric
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Production and Business Management or similar
- Minimum 3 years experience in the Sewing/Textile environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Inspect work for adherence to specifications
- Train workers in assembly of new style garments
- Troubleshoot problems that occur during production
- Instruct and communicate accordingly with management and technical support
- Manage and oversee the production line according to production plan and delivery schedule to ensure deadlines and output targets are met
