Clinical Advisor Kwazulu-natal

PerryHill International has a vacancy available for a Clinical Advisor in the Westville Kwazulu-Natal area.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a nursing certificate (Registered with SANC).
- At least 3 years work experience in a hospital and or home care environment.
- Training experience.
- Must reside in Kwazulu-Natal.
- Have a valid driver’s license (Code 08).
- Must take on Company vehicle as part of package.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (additional language, bonus).

**Duties will include inter alia the following: (not to be construed as all inclusive)**
- Attend to patients with enteral feeding and tracheostomy devices.
- Position will require weekend stand by and after hour calls, patient and Surgeon dependant, unless on leave.
- Offer pre-counseling, advise, and support to patients, family, medical staff and caregivers.
- Actively work with patients and doctors to efficiently replace feeding devices and accessories within the time frame recommended by the manufacturer and as appropriate for patient needs.
- Work towards conversions of first placement devices to replacement devices.
- Attend and assist in theatre cases involving placement or replacement of enteral feeding devices.
- Work cohesively with the territory managers to attain targets.
- Attend to Doctor calls per territory target.
- Offer after sales service and care where no patient seen will be left without a follow up appointment - even if in 3 months’ time.
- Training of patients, staff in hospitals, step down facilities, care facilities, patients in special needs schools etc.
- Attend and participate in workshops, symposia, congresses etc.
