Registered Nurse

BioART Fertility Centre has an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with an interest in Fertility.

Orientation and training will be provided.
**Job Description**:

- Attending to patient inquiries
- Co-ordination of IVF cycles
- Explaining IVF protocols to patients and demonstration of medication administration
- Dispensing of medication
- Administration of conscious sedation
- Phlebotomy
- Administration of Intravenous medication
- Preparation for and assisting with medical procedures
- Willingness and flexibility to assist at our “sister” clinic if needed
Key Performance areas:

- Must be willing to learn and be trained in the field of fertility
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be organised and proficient
- Must be able to work as a team player but must also be able to work independently and efficiently
- Must have good attention to detail in both clinical and non-clinical work, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and other members of staff
- Must be able to empathise with patients
Minimum Requirements:

- Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council
- Must preferably be insured with a Nursing Union
- Must have basic computer literacy skills
- Must be fluent in English
Previous theatre and recovery room experience and the ability to speak and understand additional languages is advantageous.

**Salary**: R26,000.00 - R32,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saxonwold, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Nursing Council registration (preferred)
