**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12/Matric or NQF 4 Equivalent
- Certified Competent as Instrument Mechanician (Trade Certificate) section 13 or section 26D with record of training
- Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act No. 29 of 1996 and Regulations
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Proof of clear Criminal Record (Clearance Certificate)
- Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness
- Underground mining experience required
- Valid driver's license
- Own transport

**Please note: the position will not receive overtime rates at 1.5 for overtime worked. They will receive standard hourly rates for overtime worked
