ikeja Wireless is looking for technicians to join our team, as we embark on the expansion of our network throughout South Africa.

In taking on this role, you will be joining a talented and passionate team who are intrinsically motivated by the fact that we are a fast-growing internet startup which finds itself in the telecommunications space.

**The role**

We are seeking technicians who are looking to gain experience in the telecommunications space, more specifically through being involved in serving our customers by carrying out the maintenance of our wireless internet services

The Wireless Maintenance Technician role demands that you be proactive, resourceful, hands-on, highly responsible and able to take initiative.

**Responsibilities of the role (not limited to but including)**:

- Relocation of wireless services
- Realignment
- Remounting poles
- Reprogramming and replacing hardware
- Uninstalls
- Fault finding and troubleshooting:
Re-cabling

Upgrades

Recrimping

**Requirements**:

- Background in cabling installations (Wireless, CCTV, DSTV etc)
- Ability to use a variety of tools including drills, ratchets, hammers, allen keys, crimping tools
- You have a valid Drivers License (highly advantageous)
