SFI Group (Pty) Ltd, a national air-conditioning service and maintenance company has a vacancy for an IT Support, to provide network and system related support on network and system related issues. Assist in the investigation and diagnosing network problems and providing recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Creating user accounts and performing access control.
- Call outs for user support
- Repairs and installations Desktop PC's/Laptops etc.
- Software support (Microsoft Windows, Office etc)
- Connectivity support ( WAN/LAN, GSM)
- Antivirus and patch management (WSUS)
- Maintain backups and file/folder share drives and security (EaseUSTodo)
- Maintain asset register (ISO Standards)
- Maintain database of licences for software ( ISO Standards)
- Maintain antivirus software and licencing (Sophos)
- Maintain sim cards
- Various ISP's (Vodacom, Telkom,MTN)
- Maintain printers (32)
- Maintain Time and Attendance Systems (ERS Bio)
- Maintain building management systems for HVAC (BMS) - (Connectivity)
- Maintain Field Portal for Sites.
- Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
- Assist with PDA technical queries and issues (35).
- Assist with and provide PDA/Field Portal support and training.
- Implement and train users on updates and new software.
- Monitor company software subscriptions
- Troubleshoot and repair of hardware devices
- Monitor and maintaining networks and services.
- Field all IT related calls.

**Qualification and Experience**:

- 2 - 3 years IT Support experience
- Matric or Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in Technology, Information Systems, or similar.
- Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.

**Knowledge**:

- Report writing
- Experience working on QBooks ( advantageous)
- Sound experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
