Tube Laser Drafter

Here at **ParkerSteel** we have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated **Steel Tube Laser Drafter / Planner** to join our busy Technical Department at our **satellite office in Durban**.

You will be working on a **full time, permanent basis, 45 hours per week Monday to Friday **and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary** of **R20,000** **to R35,000 per month** dependent on skills and experience.**

**Hours of Work**:You will be required to work a 2-week shift pattern of the following Early / Late starts (45 Hrs per Week)**

**The Role and Responsibilities will include**:
Working as a team managing steel products. Responsible for producing 3D Drawings for production team, programming of orders using SolidWorks / Lantek and ArTube. You will be required to provide detailed drawings for customers to specification. Providing Technical Support to Sales and Operational Staff to enable maximum productivity will be a key requisite of the role.

**The Person**

The role will suit a team worker who is keen to learn and committed within this fast-paced workplace. Experience producing 3D CAD drawings (with a relevant qualification will be an advantage), you must have the ability to produce informative and clear production drawings including all technical information, you will need to be focused and diligent, with good communication and listening skills.

As a minimum a Solidworks Essentials qualification is a requirement. Relevant experience in Solidworks, Trumpf, SigmaNest and Steel Projects PLM software will be an advantage, however training will be given, in additional packages.
