**Key Purpose**

The primary purpose of this role is to:

- Deliver the budgeting and forecasting cycles within agreed timelines.
- Deliver the 3yr plan within agreed timelines.
- Supply scenario planning information as required.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
Key Outputs and Accountabilities
- Preparing the appropriate templates to prepare the budget by all concerned department.
- Comply with the approved policy of budgeting regarding the deadlines and the management of the budgeting process.
- Receiving the budget estimates from all the departments of the organization and critically examining them for correctness, accuracy and completeness; and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organisational objectives.
- Consolidating and submitting budget reports to higher CCBSA management for further scrutiny and approval in accordance with the approved assumptions and guidelines.
- Monitoring the budget throughout the year, by preparing detailed reports pertaining to discrepancies and amendments that occurred in the budget.
- Support the overall business planning and target setting process.
- Provide the business with insightful scenario analysis and commentary.
- Ensure budgets are aligned to and deliver the CCBSA functional strategic plans.
- Prepare and consolidate regular profit and expense forecasts.
- Audit and report on compliance to the CCBSA reporting standardisation guidelines to enable accurate and reliable budgeting and forecasting.
- Assisting with CCBSA HFM submissions.
- Attendance of stock counts and ensure compliance to hard close and year end procedures.
- Supply of ad hoc commercial competence training and support.

**Skills, Experience & Education**:
Qualifications and Experience
- BCom Honours or equivalent
- CA(SA) / CIMA / CTA an advantage
- A minimum of 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Direct operational experience advantageous
- Previous experience in managing a complex reporting function an advantage

- A high level of computer literacy (HFM, SAP, Margin Minder, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Outstanding business analysis skills to generate business insight and scenarios.

- Strong verbal / analytical reasoning ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong process optimisation skills.
