Our client has an opportunity available for an Engineering Superintendent (Mechanical) based in Brits.

**Requirements**:

- A completed Mechanical BSC or National Diploma
- mandatory.****:

- Government Certificate of Competence Mining
- mandatory.****:

- 3+ years’ experience in Engineering in a Chrome Mining environment.
- High Level of Competence in MS Office.
- Knowledge and experience of the MHSA- advantageous.
- Strong technical skills.
- Have GCC factories and solid, relevant steel processing and manufacturing industry experience
- essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement and coordinate the maintenance plans for area of responsibility.
- Ensure adherence to legislation, policies and procedures.
- Engage relevant stakeholders to solve operational and engineering problems.
- Participate in RCFA investigations to facilitate problem solving.
- Identify and drive technical and process improvement.
- Drive safety, engineering, quality, and cost drivers.
- Implement Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence.
- Adhere to all MHSA regulations, SHEQ regulations and Company policies and procedures.
