My client manufactures products and systems associated with the control and motion of industrial and mobile equipment. They are looking for an Installations Planner
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Site visits to assist in estimation and quoting of installation jobs
- Drawing up, maintaining, updating of Progress Plans (MS Projects), Quality Control Data Packs (QCP’s) and site SHEQ requirements.
- Planning, ordering and follow up of material for installation jobs
- Arranging site induction and medicals prior to job start
- Assist in job costing - during job and on closure
- Assist technicians on requirements during job
- Arranging transport and packing of materials
- General office duties
Qualifications and experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in hydraulics
- Have good organisational skills
- Excellent follow up skills
- Good communication and people skills
- Competence in Syspro and Microsoft Office programs (will be an advantage)
- Valid Driver’s licence and medically fit
