They are currently in search of a talented individual to fill the role of Trainee Auditor. This role is based in Pretoria.

**Job and Company Description**:
My client is an innovative accounting firm, constantly adapting to the evolving landscape. In the position, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely completion of field work, adhering to established policies and procedures, and staying within budgetary constraints.

As the Trainee Auditor you will be responsible for:

- Fieldwork is carried out according to established policies and procedures, staying within the allocated budget.
- Engage in audit planning meetings and contribute to budgeting discussions.
- Execute comprehensive audit file planning and preparation, including generating relevant reports for final approval.
- Perform calculations for tax returns.
- Prioritize and plan work assignments based on guidance from the manager.
- Conduct thorough audit planning activities.
- Accurately complete time sheets.
- Offer expertise on technical matters and assist fellow trainees in accomplishing their objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and fellow trainees.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Completed CTA/ in the process of completing CTA.
- A thorough knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, ISA, and taxation.
- Taking initiative/being pro-active.
- Information gathering and problem analysis skills.
