Junior IT Support Technician

**Duties and responsibilities of the job**
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Installing, Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Possibly training more staff members
- Be able to work independently and give a report on daily tasks
- Assisting in organizing office equipment
- Handling quotations to clients
- Handling clients IT needs onsite at various locations in local proximity

**Qualifications and requirements**
- An IT and networking qualification/certification (e.g. A+, N+, MCSE)

**Experience Required**

You are expected to have relevant IT experience and be able to diagnose and repair PC problems

Experience with networking and diagnosing network faults and fixing issues such damaged cables.

You should have experience dealing with customers

Minimum of 2 year relevant IT experience required

Also worth noting is the occasionally physical nature of the role as you may have to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in ceilings.

Salary offered is R5500 - R7500 depending on skills and experience

If selected you would begin on a probation period.
