**Driver Trainer**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Essential: Matric.
- Certification as a Driver Trainer, including credentials as an Assessor, Facilitator, and/or Moderator.
- Possession of a valid Code 14 Driver License with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Demonstrated experience of 3 or more years in a relevant training or learning environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Train and access Code 14 heavy duty Drivers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of training activities, including attendance, progress, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct thorough driving performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing remedial training as necessary.
- Facilitate both classroom and on-road on-the-job training sessions, utilising a variety of instructional methods to effectively convey key concepts.
- Develop and maintain training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of training programs to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide input for the development of training materials, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company objectives.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to drivers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Deliver constructive feedback to management regarding training outcomes and trainee performance, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.
