Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand and build onto the Mediamark storyline across the audio and digital platforms.
- Evaluate briefs and formulate robust recommendations which support the clients’ media strategies.
- Develop coherent insights in commercial proposals to clients that support their marketing objectives and to drive ROI.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to agencies and clients.
- Create and update compelling collateral to make a case for the partner brands within the Mediamark portfolio.
- Create integrated go-to-market product solutions.
- Liaise with the relevant departments to plan, prioritize, and assist in product and campaign execution.
- Attend regular status meetings and training sessions.
- Play a key role in the development of multichannel skills across the organization.
- High involvement in strategic pitches.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake strategic projects as directed by management that support Mediamark’s commercial growth ambitions.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a mid-level strategist position within a large media or marketing organization.
- Proficient in executing and managing projects from beginning to end.
- Radio and digital experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Basic understanding of research and processes.
- Ability to interrogate data and analytics to formulate robust insights backed up by facts.
- In-depth understanding of market-, sector
- and consumer trends, shifts in the media landscape, and insight capabilities within Mediamark and related OPCO’s.
- High literacy of software systems (Telmar Survey Time/Nielsen Clear Decisions, Nielsen AdIntel, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, 1st and 3rd party research tools)
- Skilled in media planning and post-campaign analysis.
- Ability to create visually appealing presentations with a strong narrative supported by international trends, category
- and consumer insights.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound communication skills and ability to deliver in a concise and confident manner.
- Future-forward thinking and approach to the dynamic media landscape and changing consumer behaviour.
- Collaborative and able to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders.

**Education**:

- A degree or equivalent (NQF 7) in Marketing/Advertising or Media Studies
