Maintenance Supervisor

St Joseph's Marist College seeks to recruit a suitable applicant to fill the following position:
**MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR**

(Full time, commencing immediately or soonest thereafter)

**Job Summary**:
The Maintenance Supervisor will manage the maintenance and repairs of the college campus.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of seven members

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Manage and implement repairs that do not require outsourced service providers. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, carpentry (incl. hanging doors), paving, plastering, electrical, plumbing etc.
- Manage and implement maintenance of the campus which includes buildings, fields, pool and vehicles.
- Communicate and engage with external service providers. e.g. security
- Communicate and engage with all stakeholders onsite.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar post
- A willingness to learn new skills that will benefit the team and the school.
- Ability to supervise staff and manage schedules.
- Ability to manage outsourced services.
- Knowledge of general repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Work well as a member of a team.
- Knowledge and experience with irrigation systems, carpentry, painting, tiling, plumbing, recycling or pool maintenance, will be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in building and project management.
- Ability to create systems.
- Maintain a high standard of professional conduct: Punctual, good attendance, good work, etc.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to work at heights, handle heavy equipment and walk for long periods

**Experience**:

- Maintenance supervisor: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- License (preferred)
