3 MONTH CONTRACT with a view to perm

**Duties**:
1. Assess damage and perform repairs, alterations, or restorations to the exterior of vehicles

2. Preparing repair or modification cost estimates

3. Planning, organizing, and scheduling the workflow

4. Ensuring compliance to industry specifications and safety standards

5. Reporting

6. Totams software knowledge advantage.

7. Electronic quotes.

8. Liaise with internal/external stakeholders.

9. Maintain high safety standards in the workplace.

10. Managing of staff.

11. Ability to complete management reports electronically

**Inherent Requirements**

1. Trade Certificate

2. At least 5 years of experience in panel beating plus 5 years in a supervisory role

3. Spray painting, general welding, and brazing experience.

4. Be physically fit for heavy work

5. Be meticulous and accurate

6. Able to work in noisy environments

7. Good hand-eye coordination

8. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

9. An excellent grasp of panel beater special equipment

10. The willingness to keep up to date with technological advances in the field

11. Must be willing to work shifts, overtime

12. Valid driver’s license and own transport.

13. Forklift licence (advantageous)

14. Thorough knowledge of automotive industry safety specifications and regulations.

15. Experience with body repair kits, spray painting and welding equipment, hydraulic lifters, and pneumatic saws

16. Good administration and reporting skills - written and verbal

17. Computer literate
