Relief General Manager

Large Hotel with extensive conferencing facilities in the Rustenburg area is looking for a Relief General Manager to start immediatly for a 3 month period.

Responsible for:

- All aspects of operations at the hotel
- Day-to-day staff management and guests.
- General manager should be an ambassador for the brand.
- Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.
- Work very closely with the hotel owners and other stake holders.
- Managing the Hotel’s management team (HOD's) and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent guest experience.
- Manage between profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

**Requirements**:

- Must have previous management experience and knowledge of the Hotel industry
- Must be a good communicator
- Must have knowledge of budgeting and financial management
- Must have an eye for detail
- Customer service experience
- Must be able to plan, prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Must be a good team player and also have the ability and motivation to work under own instruction
- Must have good computer skills - both MS Excel and MS Word in particular.
