**Job Description**:
The main responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Ensure all the Gaming Board Rules and Regulations are strictly followed operationally.

2. Development of staff through training and knowledge.

3. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Gaming Laws/Rules/ Regulations pertaining to the Provincial Gambling Board to ensure Compliance is maintained.

4.Ensure licensing and compliance with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).

5.Ensure open communication with the respective Provincial Gambling Boards.

6.Ensure good communication and relations with Local Government and Private Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical Services.

7.Plan, organize, co
- ordinate and control all personnel in the efficient discharge of their duties.

8.Ensure that disciplinary and grievance procedures are adhered to in accordance with Company Policy, Labour Relations and Industrial Procedures.

9.Proactive compliance in terms of the Gambling Act.

10.Remedy & comply with internal audit, external auditors, Gaming Board and PSIRA regarding compliance Audits.

11.Analyse systems, policies and procedures with the aim to enhance the Surveillance, Gaming and operations.

12.Compiling of month end reports, year-end reports and Statistics.

13.Analyse Gaming, F&B, Hotels and General Revenues for any red flags to potentially launch Investigations.

14.Implement preventative (pro-active and re-active) measures.

15.Frequent risk analysis.

16.Strategize and implement PDI development into managerial positions.

17Strategize, implement and oversee Investigations where required with Gaming Investigations your priority.

18.Ensure proactive and reactive crime prevention and crime countermeasures.

19. Armed robbery processors, procedures and countermeasures is of primary importance.

20.The Safety and Security of Staff and Guests is of paramount importance.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
- Surveillance and Security Management or related Diploma would be an advantage
- Extensive knowledge of CCTV systems
- A minimum of 10 years’ Gaming Surveillance and security experience of which 3 years should be in a managerial position
- Good administrative & interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning, problem solving skills are required
- Highly motivated individual with good communication skills
- Grade B PSIRA qualification (**P**rivate **S**ecurity **I**ndustry **R**egulatory **A**uthority) is required.
- High Level of Computer literacy with the following programme:

- Office Applications
- CCTV Applications
- Cheeteye Security Software

**OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Will be required to obtain a Gaming Board Licence from the Mpumalanga Gaming Board
