**Purpose of Role**

**To administer an Online Gaming platform and monitor and report on a 24x7 basis and this involves shift work**

**Key Responsibilities**

- **Investigate and react to any live issues that might arise**
***:

- ** Prepare and take part in the periodic release of new software**
***:

- ** Act as an escalation point for issues flagged by customer support**
***:

- ** Take part in the design and implementation of new setups**
***:

- ** Handle service requests, incidents, problems and change requests, using **ITIL best practice.**
***:

- ** Assist in process improvement and automation.**
***

**Desirable Skills**

***

***:

- **At least 4- 6 years’ experience in technical support and monitoring**
***:

- ** All-rounder, with very good IT knowledge and in **Linux** technologies**
***:

- ** Possess excellent communication skills**
***:

- ** Deep knowledge of various monitoring tools**
***:

- ** Good problem-solving skills**
***:

- ** Detect/analyze alarms to provide fault isolation and remote troubleshooting, escalating when necessary**
***:

- ** Acts as a focal point for outages until restoration.**
***:

- ** Ability to analyze logs for troubleshooting issues, including malicious activity or cybersecurity threats**
***:

- ** Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills**
***:

- ** Docker/Kubernetes ( nice to have )**
***:

- ** Virtualisation - Openstack, Vmware**
***:

- ** Cloud - Google GKE, Amazon EKS ( nice to have )**
