Copywriter

As a Copywriter, you will be supporting the Creative team by collaborating on projects allocated to you by the Studio Lead and Account Directors.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
Strong conceptual ability and strategic i.e. able to conceptualise strong creative campaigns / Collaborate with the Creative team and Account Managers/Directors from concept development to delivery of final product

Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for execution with assigned brands

Research and understand a client’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, and in-person meetings

Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials

Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team — and to client representative when requested — and participate occasionally in client pitches

Revise copy based on internal and client feedback

Proofreading and performing quality checks

Experience and capability in both long form and short form copywriting

- social media captions
- radio ads
- video scripts

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 4 years copywriting experience; Qualification in Copywriting is required.
- **Skills**: Exceptional grammar and spelling, Digital Copywriting. Strong communication skills - both verbal and non-verbal. Strong research skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities. Excellent typing skills.
- **Technology**: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable with various online project management tools, and digital platforms.
- **Qualities**: Attention to detail, the capability to maintain discretion and confidentiality, and flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing organisation. Proactive with the ability to work independently, ability to work well under pressure.
- **Advantageous**: Valid SA Driver’s license and own car
