Packaging Production Planner

**Salary**: R30 000 - R35 000 depending on experience

**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric qualification and Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain/Business Management
- Solid packaging manufacturing planning experience - Essential
- 4-8 years of experience in a similar role
- Project management experience beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of Syspro or SAP ERP systems
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

**Job Functions**:

- Lead the planning process to align operation demand plans with customer service and revenue objectives
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of planning tools, reports, and systems
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply chain operations
- Maintain open communication with planning groups, production managers, and expeditors on a daily basis
- Coordinate production schedules and material orders to optimize resource allocation
- Utilize sales forecasts to determine production resource requirements
- Cultivate positive relationships within the operations environment to foster a proactive working atmosphere
- Develop and monitor production metrics to drive continuous improvement
