Headwear24, Africa's largest headwear manufacturer, is seeking to hire a dynamic, organised and highly efficient administrator to handle the administration in its branding departments.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
To provide administrative support to the Embroidery and Printing Departments and supply chain activities to ensure the smooth running of the departments.

**KEY DUTIES**
- Assist in the achievement of the department Key Performance Indicators.
- Planning of production on the relevant machines - using formulae to calculate throughput time and plan the work on the schedule per individual machine.
- Data capturing on Excel to ensure that orders are complete - especially as it relates to Manufacturing orders.
- Placing Purchase Orders for thread, Buckram, PU and EVA and following up on deliveries. Following up on any delays.
- Maintaining and updating servicing schedules and ensuring machines are serviced 100% according to schedule.
- Recon of jobs to mitigate risk and minimise losses.
- Auditing production capacity, comparing the plan with actual production and reporting on anomalies.
- Reporting on additional compensation for operators working more than one machine using data from score sheets and submitting to payroll.
- Processing documentation quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
- General Administration - filing score sheets, weekly stock assessment and adjustment of key raw materials where necessary.
- Resolving issues and trouble shooting.
- Attend daily departmental meetings with branding manager

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric / NQF 4 qualification or equivalent
- A post matric qualification in Office Administration or other relevant field would be advantageous.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be preferable.
- Excellent grasp of mathematics and a high level of numeracy.
- Proven track record as an administrator, admin assistant or similar clerical role.
- Experienced in office management procedures
- Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel) - Working knowledge of Infor M3 (ERP system) and particularly creating Manufacturing Orders would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping principles will be a definite advantage.
- Innovative and meticulous, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage own time effectively with a keen sense of urgency.
- Ability work effectively under pressure within a team environment
- High level of personal resilience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Post Matric administrative qualification (preferred)
