**Compliance Auditor Job Responsibilities**:

- Implement and maintain an effective legal compliance system.
- Develop and maintain company documents, policies and procedures.
- Inform/Advise on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations.
- Create action plans in response to audit findings and non-compliances.
- Assist with Risk assessments
- Liaise with external auditors/consultants regarding compliance.
- Implement and maintain all documentation relating to the Department of Health, Department of Labour, Fire Department and SABS audits.
- Ensure that all compliance certificates/documentation are current
- Applications for updated/new certification
- All filing to be up-to-date (compliance Docs)
- Assist with the preparation and execution of external audits (Customers, Certification bodies, etc.)
- Expands and reviews company policies.
- Provides management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing management information.
- Completes audit work papers and memorandums by documenting audit tests and findings.
- Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; and identifying work process improvements.
- Ensures compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation; and recommending opportunities to strengthen the internal control structure.

- Data analysis
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent English and communication

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree in relevant industry
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
