Guest Relations

The Guest Relations Officer/Agent is responsible for all guest services and administration of all Guest Service Related tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Min 2 Years Guest Relations experience
- Hands on Problem Solving approach and the ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office - Outlook, Word & Excel) - We work 95% of the time from a computer software system, so your IT skills needs to be above average
- Customer service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Friendly, courteous and service-orientated
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Effective communication with staff as well as Guests and Clients
- Honest and trustworthy beyond approach
- Quick learner with great attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Presentable/Professional appearance and well spoken
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - exceptional telephone etiquette and mannerisms a must
- Team Player who leads by example
- Proactive in approach
- Interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills
- Be Fluent in English and proficient in Afrikaans
- Be flexible and able to cope with a variety of different tasks
- You will be required to work some weekends and after hours
- Must have your own vehicle
- Must have at least a minimum of 2 years in the hospitality industry

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing guests’ experiences and ensuring guests have a pleasant stay
- Handling complaints as they arise and actively try to resolve guest complaints, where possible, exercise judgement and escalate it to the manager
- Administrative Work - mostly web-based
- Reviews
- Welcome guest to their stay by means of Meet & Greet

This is a challenging job that will reward people who are self-motivated and hardworking

**Salary**: R8,000.00 per month
