Treasurer

Ensure that the Branch operates in accordance with all current applicable legislation, rules and regulations
- Ensure that the Branch operates in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, and Internal Control Procedures
- Ensure that the Branch operates according to the highest possible standards, in keeping
- With its objective to become the market leader in South Africa
- Responsible for on-job training for new staff in Treasury
- Ensure compliance with all FICA Internal rules
- Responsible for the preparation, issue and control of floats and the issue and control of relevant keys
- Responsible for the reconciliation, safekeeping and banking of cash
- Ensure that clearance is conducted in terms of Internal Control Procedures
- Ensure an understanding of the RGS system and that soft counts are conducted in terms of the Internal Control Procedures
- Responsible for record keeping of overall cash of the Branch and such other functions as required or prescribed by Management or the Internal Control Procedures
- Deputize for the Cashier in his/her absence and undertake related responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with the administration of the gaming and catering department

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Cash Handling: 1 year (preferred)
