CSV is currently seeking to add an experienced **Concrete Foreman** to its team of professionals.

**CONCRETE FOREMAN: 12 MONTH CONTRACT**
**SITE BASED POSITION: GORDON'S BAY, WESTERN CAPE**

**Job Summary**:
The **Concrete Foreman **will plan, lead and supervise concrete labourers responsible for the preparation, placement, finishing and curing of concrete on construction sites. The Concrete Foreman will ensure that works are completed as per drawings, within the set timeframes and to the correct quality standards. In addition, the Concrete Foreman will play an integral role in liaising with both internal and external (client) representatives.
- **Duties/Responsibilities**:_
- Manage and control all aspects of concrete works on Site
- Co-ordinates workflows in accordance to priorities and Site Programme
- Creates schedules and assigns general and daily tasks to subordinates (tradespeople and construction workers)
- Ensures that all resources (people, plant and materials) are scheduled, planned and or ordered timeously as per Company protocols and processes
- Supervising and mentoring Construction Supervisors, tradespeople and subcontractors assigned to the work area
- Ensures that records are completed accurately - daily diaries, HSE paperwork, attendance registers, order forms, amongst others
- Liaises with all project stakeholders, internal and external client representatives
- Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed
- Troubleshoots routine issues
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- **Required Skills/Abilities**:_
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read drawings
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry and processes
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- **Education and Experience**:_
- At least 10 years’ experience as a Concrete Foreman
- **Additional Requirements**:_
- Must have a valid drivers licence
- Must be medically fit
