**VACANCY: DRIVER / ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT (CAPE TOWN)**

**PRIME PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

Contour Logistics is recruiting an energetic, dynamic, and responsible Driver/ Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful incumbent will facilitate the documentation flow between various role players. Furthermore, it will be required of the incumbent to project professionalism, as the position holder is considered a direct representation of the companies’ image to clients and stakeholders.

This position will report to the Team Leader/Documentation manager.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Delivering and collection of documents from various departments.
- Keep clear and accurate records of documents submitted and received. I.e., register.
- Maintain the required long-term relationships with DALRRD/PPECB/Chamber of commerce /Customs/Shipping lines etc.
- Assist Documentation co-ordinators with administrative queries.
- Pro-active communication to Documentation co-ordinators. This includes, but are not limited to the following: o Any deviations o Joint problem solving with regards to service providers
- Making sure that the assigned vehicle(s) are neat and tidy at all times, whilst adhering the Company’s vehicle policy, and to road and traffic regulations

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08) with clear infringement record

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Good knowledge and understanding of shipping documents will lean towards the incumbent’s advantage
- Excellent Time management and planning skills
- Good communication skills - speaking & writing (both in English and Afrikaans)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Improve work methods and proactive problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work long, flexible hours

Due to the fact that customer and industry requirements are forever changing, it is expected of the incumbent to be flexible within their capabilities and complete any additional tasks as instructed by your superiors.
