**About the Role**:
This is a new role created to support our expanding client base. You will assist with bookkeeping and administrative tasks, enabling the director to focus on business development.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain bookkeeping tasks, including capturing transactions, reconciliations, and compliance with SARS requirements.
- Prepare and manage payroll, VAT, PAYE, and other financial deadlines (monthly, bi-annual, annual).
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, client communication, and correspondence with regulatory bodies like SARS, CIPC, DOL, and banks.
- Ensure accurate and efficient data management across a variety of financial scenarios.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Diploma or degree in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in public practice accounting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
- Understanding of VAT, PAYE, Payroll, and basic bookkeeping principles.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to assimilate information efficiently and accurately.
- Driven, self-motivated, and proactive in achieving deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Collaborative team player with a focus on client satisfaction.
**Working Hours and Conditions**:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Rare weekend or overtime work, as needed.
- Initially onsite with the potential for a hybrid arrangement once performance milestones are met.

Pay: R8 500,00 - R14 000,00 per month
