**Job Advert Summary**:
We are looking for an Assistant Farm Manager within the Supreme Poultry Breeders. The ideal individual should have strong leadership skills combined with a deep, practical knowledge and understanding of Boiler breeders and would need to meet a certain criteria.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role within the broiler breeder sphere.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & word. - IT skills are essential alongside the capability to analyse operational reports, monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.
- A good understanding of modern farming methods, a commitment to animal welfare and an interest in, and understanding of, the ways in which farming impacts the environment.
- Proficiency in English is essential in this position.
- Valid Drivers license & own transportation.
- Strong analytical skills relating to breeder technical aspects

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Rearing Operations - Manage all production related activities ensuring consistent compliance with standard operating procedures in order to achieve optimal production output efficiencies.
- Managing compliance on a strict bio-security environment.
- Work efficiently in a team environment with tact, patience, and willingness to work as a team, ability to build work relationships and be able to work under pressure.
- Arranging audits with vaccine and chemical suppliers.
- Record and monitor weekly husbandry parameters.
- Exception people /team leadership skills - Couching employees to help them develop a clear understanding of the requirement relating to Animal Welfare, Food Safety and Quality and develop a team to ensure they have the capability to meet the performance goals.
- Involve the team by encouragement and motivating to deliver safety excellence and promote risk awareness by getting involved and following safety rules and identify risks.
- Attending to HR/IR matters (i.e. planning leave, time attendance sheets, disciplinary process & interviews)
