Intelligence Chief Instructor

**Reports to: AP Intelligence Program Manager**

**K**ey responsibilities**:

- Instruction for Analysts and Investigator:

- Deliver basic Intelligence training for new teams and individual staff in order to equip new analysts and investigators with foundational knowledge and skills in intelligence operations.
- Refreshment training in order to update and reinforce the knowledge and skills of current analysts and investigators to ensure they remain effective and informed about the latest developments.
- Advanced training in order to develop skills in specialized areas of Intelligence for experienced analysts and investigators.
- Curriculum Design: Participate in the further development of comprehensive AP Intelligence training material

(presentations, manuals).
- Policy Implementation:

- Ensure that all training activities comply with the AP Intelligence Program standards.
- Provides training and guidance on the AP Intelligence SOP.
- Conducts Intelligence audits.
- Innovation: Train all teams in the usage of the expected new AP Intelligence Program database.

**Competencies and experience needed for the job**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Intelligence, preferably in a conservation context.
- Experience in providing Intelligence training.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English. Any other relevant language is a plus.
- Able to self-manage and understand priorities
- Good team player with a collaborative spirit and the ability to work with diverse cultures.
- Experience living and working in austere environments, preferably also in Africa.
- Strong personal integrity and reliability.
- Goal-oriented, motivated, creative, very flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Adherence to the values of African Parks.
