Looking for a Clinical Psychologist. 3 positions available.

Will be an independent contractor.

To start asap.

Work 2 days per week and one weekend a month.

Based at a medical hospital in Parktown.

Client base - adult and teen medical patients currently in hospital having sustained severe physical trauma, or diagnosed with acute or chronic general medical conditions, or undergoing medical procedures, or undergoing palliative care. Also psychotherapy offered to the patient's support systems as well as the hospital staff.

Duties - assess, diagnose and treat a variety of mental, emotional and social conditions related or unrelated to the reason for the hospital admission. Report writing and general admin. Collaborate with and provide feedback to various MDT members. Provide feedback to MDT.

Attend weekly ward round.

Skills - ability to work well under pressure, remain calm in high stress situations, be able to adapt and adjust to ever changing environment, and good admin management.

Must have completed studies, including internship and community service, and be registered with BHF.

Must have minimum 1 year experience working in a medical hospital with this type of client base.

Must have own transport and live less than 30 minutes from Parktown.

Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
