Workshop Supervisor

**Workshop Foreman required**:
High end Residential Fabrication Design Firm in Ballito is looking for a diligent workshop foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company.

In this role, you will supervise workshop personnel, oversee the management and maintenance of equipment, and ensure the efficiency of operations. You will also be required to manage inventory and enforce safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years + of experience as a workshop foreman
- The applicate should be able to start immediately.
- Supervising and training staff when required.
- Overseeing work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations.
- Enforcing safety regulations and protocols.
- Meeting with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies.
- Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained.
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Performing administrative tasks such as updating and filing equipment orders, stock receipts, and staff schedules.
- Insure that tasks are completed within set time frame
- Liaising with sales executive to insure orders are executed as per client's request

**Required Experience - **You will have:

- Valid driver's license.
- 3years + experience as a shop foreman or similar.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- A great understanding of work optimization techniques.
- Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Good time management and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed.
- Experience in carpentry and/or welding would be advantageous
- Knowledge of various welding and/or carpentry tools would be advantageous

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ballitoville, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- workshop foreman: 3 years (required)
